Recognition

Advancement

Your scout will be very busy at camp.  Most of their experiences will meet Rank requirements for their fall start of Cub Scouts.  The camp will provide documentation to the Pack Coordinators after camp week listing all the wonderful adventures your scout had.

Recognitions

Recognition may come in many forms.  All staff members are encouraged to provide verbal recognition and encouragement to Scouts at all times.  There is no better job than to see a Scout accomplish something new and to be a part of it.

Beads, stickers or stamps will be presented to each Scout for participation and adequate completion of projects and activities.  They should be worn with pride on their Nametags.   Beads, stickers or stamps are used as a positive incentive for the Scouts to gain maximum accomplishments with his ability to live up to the Cub Scout Motto, “Do Your Best”.  If your scout has an accomplishment we should be aware of let us know - we keep a ready stock ribbons for a lost tooth, birthday, good deed and 1st timers.

Den Chief Program

Den Chiefs are youth who have aged out of the Program but still come back to assist the adult volunteers.  The serve as a role model to the Cub Scouts and set the example for behavioral expectations. Because of this our Den Chiefs must be vouched for by the Scoutmaster and serve with a positive attitude. They must be responsible, able to multitask and exemplify servant leadership. They will receive documentation of their service hours for their troop and learn leadership responsibilities during their week.  Den Chiefs are expected to have Den Chief Training to prepare for their role at camp.

YOUTH STAFF (Non-BSA Youth Helpers)  Youth staff are held to same high standards as our Den Chiefs and follow the same programming.
