Drop Off/ Pick Up

Camp will run from 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM Monday through Friday. All vehicles entering and leaving Camp must adhere to the 10-MPH speed limit.

If you see dust you are going too fast.

Please have your camper there by 8:45 AM so we can begin on time and pick up your tired camper on time; the gate opens for the carpool line at 3:50 PM. We do not offer early drop-off or late pick up at this time.  All of our staff are volunteers who need to get home after their day at camp.

The drop off/ pick up location is in front of the path leading to the dining hall.  Cars will circle to the right in the parking lot and pull around. Signage will be provided. On the first day of camp it is recommended that parents park and walk their scout up to check in.  A scout must be dropped off and picked up by parents, guardians or an authorized individual listed on the child’s updated health form.  A note from the parents must be filled out the morning of or any day prior to when a Scout is being picked up by someone other than his parents or guardians.

Car tags are 5 slips of paper emailed to each parent in the week before camp.  This slip of paper is your "ticket" to pick up your scout from camp. Lost tickets or "tickets in my other car" will require the driver to park until confirmation can be made of their status.   Scouts riding home with another adult means the driver will need to have that scouts car tag or a signed note from the scouts parent turn in that morning at drop off.  In confusing circumstances, a scout will not be released until verbal confirmation is received from the parent or guardian.  Plan ahead.

Early Departure/ Late Arrival

A signed note must accompany any Scout on that morning if they know they must leave early.  They will then be escorted to the Headquarters Health Lodge at the front of camp at the designated time, where they will wait for the parents or guardians. Last minute or unplanned situations take time since our camp is so big. Please plan ahead and be prepared to wait if this happens.

If your scout is not attending camp, or is going to be late, please phone the camp director as soon as possible.  This number is provided just before the start of camp.

NOTE: We will phone home if your scout is expected and does not show up and we have not been informed.

Visitors

Visitors are always welcome at Day Camp.  All visitors must check-in at the Health Lodge and receive an official Day Camp Visitor’s Badge.  If anyone is seen without an official Day Camp Name Tag or Visitors Badge, advise the Camp or Program Director immediately. Prior to leaving, all visitors must return to Health Lodge and check out and return their Visitor’s badge.

Due to this years increased need for health screenings, NO Visitors will be allowed into Camp this year.
